Focus and Scope
The Journal strives to be a forum for all health professionals to publish original research and review articles in their area of expertise. The AMJ is a peer-reviewed, medical journal published by Anuradhapura Clinical Society (ACS). The AMJ publishes articles in clinical medicine, public health and health promotion.
AMJ is a member of COPE and is included on DOAJ. Articles published in the journal are deposited with Crossref and the manuscripts submitted are screened by Crossref Similarity Check.
Publication Frequency
The Anuradhapura Medical Journal is published triannualy Yala Maha and Meda.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving Policy
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
